Volume 2 brings an impressive set of one-shot samples: kicks, snares, claps, hi-hats, percussion hits, FX, and more. But I have also crafted 200+ drum, percussion, hi-hat loops, and drum fills - covering a wide range of time signatures like 4/4, 2/4, 3/4, 5/8, 9/8, 7/8, and 10/8.
This kind of rhythmic variety is something you rarely, if ever, find in a single sample pack. The vast majority of music we enjoy is in even time signatures like 4/4, so one way to stand out from the crowd as a producer is to break away from the "standards" and experiment.

HOW WAS THIS SAMPLE PACK MADE
Since I often receive questions about how I create my sounds - and I do understand the concerns many producers have about sample packs being made from just repackaged content - I want to be completely transparent about my design process.
I used a variety of techniques and tools (VSTs and plugins) to create these sounds, but most of them are synthesized - either with Serum 2 (especially the FX) or using different combinations of Reason devices like KONG Drum Synth, Thor, Audiomatic, and Scream4 Distortion. In some cases, I layered synthesized sounds with other samples (mainly from the Reason stock library) to achieve a specific texture.
While I did use my KORG PA-700 to compose some of the loops - and you might recognize certain drum sounds from its stock kits - all loops in this pack are original compositions, created specifically for this release.
To build and layer the sounds, I also used a mix of sources including Reason’s stock sound library, older samples I’ve created or synthesized myself troughout the years, recordings provided by musician friends, and selected material from freesound.org (all used within their licensing terms).
