You’ve probably also heard dozens of TikToks and Instagram Reels lately with Slavic-inspired music in the background - often blended with modern phonk, trap, or EDM beats.

ARABIC GROOVES FOR KONTAKT (ATLAS SOUNDS)
This is one I came across on social media. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but the demo sounds really promising, so I wanted to share it with you. Keep in mind that this isn’t a traditional sample pack - it’s a Kontakt library, which means you’ll need the full version of Kontakt to use it. Even so, it’s a great tool for creating original Arabic-inspired grooves and adding a unique flavor to your productions.
ANATOLIAN GROOVES FOR KONTAKT (ATLAS SOUNDS)
What a pleasant surprise! They also offer a Turkish version of this instrument. Authentic Turkish samples, percussions, and drum loops aren’t easy to come by, making this a truly unique find. The rhythms are complex, distinctive, and just downright delightful. Like the Arabic version, this is a Kontakt instrument, so you’ll need the full version of Kontakt to use it.
FREE LOOPS ON LOOPERMAN
This isn't a sample pack - it's an entire website, and you've probably already heard of it, but I still wanted to include it here. Looperman has been around for what feels like an eternity, serving as a hub where producers share sounds they’ve recorded or created for others to use completely free in their own productions. If you're looking for ethnic percussion and drum loops without spending a dime, here's a curated list of some of the best free options available on the site.
